Nicholson Street Apartments, Abbotsford, VIC
74 new dwellings were constructed on the site of the former campus of the Sophia Mundi Steiner School. This included 68 podium and loft style terraces up to three levels high. One of the former school buildings on the site was carefully refurbished to house 6 heritage apartments.
Project Design Brief
Across the complex, designers wanted to use elegant fittings in the wet areas. Floors would be graded and finished with simple one way falls with large tiles. A linear drainage channel with a foot friendly grate was required for each shower area to compliment the simple geometry of the floor.

- The linear channel effectively captures water with minimal tile cuts to achieve the required fall along the floor.
